Representative Terry B. Adams was promoted Friday by Speaker Joe Aresimowicz to assistant majority leader of the House Democratic Caucus. Rep. Adams will serve under Majority Leader Matthew D. He will serve as vice chairman of Human Services. “I am very honored to be chosen for these additional leadership responsibilities as we face challenging times over the next two years,” he said. “I look forward to working with Speaker Aresimowicz and Majority Leader Ritter to move Connecticut forward and improve the quality of life for everyone in our great state.” “Terry Adams has served with distinction in representing the people of Stamford as well as everyone in Connecticut. He will be a great leader for our caucus. He has the knowledge and background that will help us as we tackle the important issues facing our state,” Aresimowicz said. “I am very happy that Terry Adams will be an important part of my team.
